“Before Lake Pointe had come into my life I had given up on life. I had given up on living and that I was going home from the hospital to die. I had not been out of my home except by ambulance in a very very long time almost 10 years.
Eric Woodin and the administrative staff at Lake Pointe, even though the facility is 6 hours from my home, were the only facility that would accept even with my weight and medical issues.
Upon arriving at Lake Pointe I could barely roll from side to side. Walking was not even in the picture.
Lake Pointe welcomed me as part of their family and not just someone who could fill a bed and bring in revenue. They know everyone by their name.
The staff helped me see that I had the fight and truly wanted to live.
The Physical and Occupational departments are the best. Brent and Bri worked with me and gave me back my confidence and occasionally the kick in the butt, to go from barely rolling to standing, to walking again, to climbing stairs, to doing meal prep, to getting in a car, to finally returning home.
The staff at Lake Pointe are the most loving and caring people that one could ever meet. They see what on the inside not just what’s on the outside or a number on a scale. They truly love what they do and it shows. They work hard to meet your needs and keep you informed of your care along the way.
Since February until now I have lost 225 1bs and in the process got my life back.
Thank you Lake Pointe for all the love and support. I will never forget my time there. If you are looking for a place that truly cares for you as a whole person then come to Lake Pointe. You won’t regret it. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.”

“I have been here since July and I know every place has there issues and things that need worked on …before I came here I wasn’t moving much and the admin came in and he was very caring and not the fake kind cause I have been to a lot of different hospitals and other places …you could just tell he truly cared and gave me the biggest hug and welcomed me and my husband ..and the pt and ot staff are absolutely an amazing team they have made me so stronger and you two push me and that’s what I needed it ..and I got up in a wheelchair for the first time in a year and it felt awesome and I cried they truly have helped me you to r amazing…. and to the aides they are busy and they do there best they really do when you sit here watching them run up down the hallway to help everyone and they are only human and one person can only do so much ..you guys are doing the best you can and I think you are doing the best you can …….. So as for the nurses and the amazing wound care nurse..I have seen them with patients how attentive they are to patients that you can tell they truly care about the people here and you can really see it…. and me personally they have helped me and showed me so much care and attention and I appreciate all of them and there’s two nurses that are my favorite OK maybe there is four lol…they really are amazing …the other things they do for people In the community for people I mean they are truly great people here and how much they really care about the people here I mean like I said before no place is perfect but this place has helped me so much and appreciate them so much I saw the reviews on here and I had to give my review and I know each person’s experience is different but from my perspective they are truly amazing here and they really do care about helping people thanks so much.”

“Lake Pointe is a good place to get therapy. I made friends with residents and staff. I like the admin and he has a good sense of humor. The activities are good, i enjoy the entertainment they provide, and enjoy socializing with other residents.”

“My experience here at Lake pointe was a good one. My focus was just on the intense physical therapy. When I got here I was a broken man, now I’m a better man because of Lake Pointe!”

“I was a resident of Lake Pointe from September to December where I was blessed to the wonderful care of so many. One was Robin Crick, I spent most of my time in my room crying as I was so from my family. I was very depressed, but she made a point to always stop in my room to check on me with smiles, hugs, and encourage me to join her in activities. It took me awhile to get motivated to leave my room, but I did one day because Robin stopped in my room and said she wanted to see me at activities as she told me the fun things they had planned for the week. That day I left my room just to go see Robin. Robin was my biggest cheer leader and without her I feel I would still be in my room. She made me want to join her in bingo, crafts, movie days, etc. Robin is a wonderful woman and it was such a blessing to get to know her. She treats all the residents with love and respect. She makes your day when you are sad and knows just how to get your motivated. I just want everyone to know what wonderful employees Lake Pointe has.”
